The delimited vineyard parcels themselves, so the shape is patchy: only land within them may grow the wine. Dots on the zone map are the vineyard points used for climate.

Seasons are labelled by harvest year (April–October). Year-to-year changes from ERA5-Land; tested against station records in Alto Adige (r = 0.94 for season temperature at Bolzano). Rain varies more locally, so treat single-season rain with some caution. Vintage ratings, harvest dates and frost or hail events have places in the data model but are not loaded yet.

Still to check (3)
  • Generated from EU reference data: check against the current product specification.
  • From the specification: Sparkling red wines only. Accessory varieties are limited to 10% of the holding's plantings and 49% of the cuvée; chardonnay, pinot blanc and pinot gris may be interplanted up to 15% per parcel. In the Hautes Côtes de Beaune and Hautes Côtes de Nuits areas the minimum density is 4,000 vines/ha (cordon or Guyot only, 6 buds/m²); 'en lyre' vines need 3,000 vines/ha. Base wines have at most 2 g/l fermentable sugars; release 9 months after tirage.
