Seasons are labelled by harvest year (April–October). Year-to-year changes from ERA5-Land; tested against station records in Alto Adige (r = 0.94 for season temperature at Bolzano). Rain varies more locally, so treat single-season rain with some caution. Vintage ratings, harvest dates and frost or hail events have places in the data model but are not loaded yet.

Still to check (3)
  • Generated from EU reference data: check against the current product specification.
  • From the specification: Passito grapes are dried on the vine and/or in rooms to at least 260 g/l sugar, drying may last until 31 March and vinification may not start before 1 December; it is sweet-labelled 'amabile o dolce', so no single sweetness is recorded. The rule that fermentation and maturation take place in wood of at most 500 litres for at least two years follows the passito paragraphs and is recorded for the passito only. Wall-trained systems including spurred cordon are allowed for new plantings. Wine yield max 70% (43% passito), no hl/ha figure.
