Seasons are labelled by harvest year (April–October). Year-to-year changes from ERA5-Land; tested against station records in Alto Adige (r = 0.94 for season temperature at Bolzano). Rain varies more locally, so treat single-season rain with some caution. Vintage ratings, harvest dates and frost or hail events have places in the data model but are not loaded yet.

Still to check (3)
  • Generated from EU reference data: check against the current product specification.
  • From the specification: Rosé and red wines need at least 95 % Garnacha Tinta; section 7 also lists Garnacha Tintorera and Tempranillo, without shares. The rosé wines' grape minimum of 11.5 % assumes they are made from red varieties. New plantings may use only Garnacha Tinta and Albillo Real. Aged wines may have a lower minimum total acidity (3.5 g/l after 6 months for whites, 12 months for rosés and reds). Ageing is in oak; continuous presses and high-speed centrifuges are prohibited; bottling must take place in the production area. Optional terms: Fermentado en Barrica, Roble, Vino de Parcela (no herbicides), Vino de Pueblo, Vino de Paraje, and the subzones Sierra de Gredos, Valle del Alberche, Valle del Tiétar and Valle de Iruelas.
