Seasons are labelled by harvest year (April–October). Year-to-year changes from ERA5-Land; tested against station records in Alto Adige (r = 0.94 for season temperature at Bolzano). Rain varies more locally, so treat single-season rain with some caution. Vintage ratings, harvest dates and frost or hail events have places in the data model but are not loaded yet.

  • Generated from EU reference data: check against the current product specification.
  • From the specification: White varieties must make up 10-25 %. Red grapes are destemmed and macerated for no more than four days at up to 22 °C; stopping fermentation, sulphiting the mash, sweetening and potassium sorbate are not allowed. Total acidity must be 5.5-9.5 g/l. Wine must pass an organoleptic assessment of at least 15.5 points and be placed on the market by the end of the second calendar year after the vintage. The 'natural alcohol' minimum of 8.5 % is listed among the wine's chemical properties. The older national specification (2013) in the register differs from the single document: natural alcohol at least 8 %, titratable acidity 6,0–9,5 g/l, yield up to 8 000 l/ha (80 hl/ha), organoleptic score at least 15, and variety shares of 40–50 % Žametovka (exceptionally 60 %), 10–15 % Kraljevina, 15–20 % Modra frankinja (exceptionally 30 %), up to 10 % Laški rizling and up to 15 % others; existing values are kept. It adds nothing new for empty fields.
