Seasons are labelled by harvest year (April–October). Year-to-year changes from ERA5-Land; tested against station records in Alto Adige (r = 0.94 for season temperature at Bolzano). Rain varies more locally, so treat single-season rain with some caution. Vintage ratings, harvest dates and frost or hail events have places in the data model but are not loaded yet.

  • Generated from EU reference data: check against the current product specification.
  • From the specification: At least two of the other listed varieties must be used. Maximum yields are set per variety: 11,000 kg/ha for Kraljevina and mixed white varieties, 10,000 kg/ha for Laški Rizling and the other listed varieties, 9,000 kg/ha for Renski Rizling. Minimum grape sugar is set per variety (147.0-169.3 g/l). Fermentation at 16-20 °C to dryness; stopping fermentation, sweetening and potassium sorbate are not allowed; total acidity 5.0-7.0 g/l. Vine density must exceed 3,100/ha on terraces steeper than 20 %. National specification (2013): minimum average grape sugar 147,0 g/l for Kraljevina and Žlahtnina, 158,1 g/l Laški rizling, 163,7 g/l Renski rizling, Zeleni silvanec, Sauvignon and Rumeni muškat, 169,3 g/l Beli pinot and Chardonnay; organoleptic score at least 16,3. It gives titratable acidity 5,5–7 g/l and shares of Kraljevina 20–40 % and Laški rizling 30–50 %, which differ from the single document; existing values are kept.
