Seasons are labelled by harvest year (April–October). Year-to-year changes from ERA5-Land; tested against station records in Alto Adige (r = 0.94 for season temperature at Bolzano). Rain varies more locally, so treat single-season rain with some caution. Vintage ratings, harvest dates and frost or hail events have places in the data model but are not loaded yet.

  • Generated from EU reference data: check against the current product specification.
  • From the specification: Monemvasia at least 85%, the rest Assyrtiko. Both types are from overripe sun- or shade-dried grapes: must sugar 220 g/l and natural alcohol 13.0% vol before drying, 320 g/l and 18.8% after (after-drying values recorded). The liqueur wine adds neutral wine alcohol or wine/raisin distillate by 31 May of the following year. Both need at least 24 months oxidative ageing in oak; caramel or colourings and blending of the two types are prohibited; vines over four years from grafting.
