Seasons are labelled by harvest year (April–October). Year-to-year changes from ERA5-Land; tested against station records in Alto Adige (r = 0.94 for season temperature at Bolzano). Rain varies more locally, so treat single-season rain with some caution. Vintage ratings, harvest dates and frost or hail events have places in the data model but are not loaded yet.

Still to check (3)
  • Generated from EU reference data: check against the current product specification.
  • From the specification: Main varieties only are listed (section 7); grape shares are not given. Yields are given per grape colour (white 8 000 kg/ha, red 7 500 kg/ha; lower limits for vines in the third year after grafting), so rosé, traditional red and sparkling yields are left null. The document gives no ageing periods for Crianza, Reserva or Gran Reserva and no sparkling method; quality sparkling wines may be labelled 'Premium' and 'Reserva'. Fermentation temperatures are capped (white 18 °C, rosé and red after pressing 25 °C). The 2014 technical file (Spanish) gives lower maximum yields than the single document (white 7,500 kg/ha and 52.5 hl/ha, red 6,000 kg/ha and 42 hl/ha); the single-document values are kept. It adds no ageing periods.
