Seasons are labelled by harvest year (April–October). Year-to-year changes from ERA5-Land; tested against station records in Alto Adige (r = 0.94 for season temperature at Bolzano). Rain varies more locally, so treat single-season rain with some caution. Vintage ratings, harvest dates and frost or hail events have places in the data model but are not loaded yet.

Still to check (3)
  • Generated from EU reference data: check against the current product specification.
  • From the specification: Minimum total acidity is given as 3,5 (wines, sparkling) or 4,5 (liqueur, semi-sparkling) with the unit 'milliequivalents per litre', apparently a unit error, so it is not recorded. The white and rosé product covers both colours. Varieties include Callet, Manto Negro, Fogoneu, Gorgollassa, Giró Ros, Moll and Macabeo. Pre-heating grapes or heating musts on the marc to extract colour is prohibited. The older national technical file (2014) gives a minimum total acidity of 4.5 g/l tartaric for every wine type (recorded); the current single document's 3,5 figure for still and sparkling wines may reflect a later change.
  • National tier (DOC/DOCG) not captured yet; rules extracted from the specification text.
