Seasons are labelled by harvest year (April–October). Year-to-year changes from ERA5-Land; tested against station records in Alto Adige (r = 0.94 for season temperature at Bolzano). Rain varies more locally, so treat single-season rain with some caution. Vintage ratings, harvest dates and frost or hail events have places in the data model but are not loaded yet.

  • From the specification: Varieties (section 8): Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Garnacha Blanca, Garnacha Tinta, Garnacha Tintorera, Macabeo – Viura, Merlot, Monastrell, Moscatel de Grano Menudo, Petit Verdot, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, Tempranillo, Verdejo; blending white and red grapes is not permitted. Press yields are 74 l/100 kg for red grapes and 70 l/100 kg for white; red wines macerate for at least 48 hours; ageing is in oak barrels. Technical file (Spanish) adds Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva reds and a barrel-fermented / Crianza white: ageing periods are 18, 24 and 36 months for Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva in 330-litre oak barrels (the Reserva figure, printed as "18,24", is in this note only); aged reds have at least 12 % vol actual alcohol and minimum acidity printed as "4,5 en miliequivalentes por litro", left null. Its maximum yields differ from the single document (red gobelet 45 hl/ha, red trellis 70 hl/ha). Sweetening only with rectified concentrated must from the area; fermentation temperature at most 20 °C white, 25 °C rosé, 28 °C red.
