Seasons are labelled by harvest year (April–October). Year-to-year changes from ERA5-Land; tested against station records in Alto Adige (r = 0.94 for season temperature at Bolzano). Rain varies more locally, so treat single-season rain with some caution. Vintage ratings, harvest dates and frost or hail events have places in the data model but are not loaded yet.

Still to check (3)
  • Generated from EU reference data: check against the current product specification.
  • From the specification: Minimum total acidity for white, red and sparkling wines is given in milliequivalents per litre (4,0 and 3,5) and is not recorded. The planting density minimum applies to newly established vineyards. Maximum yields are set by variety group: Tămâioasă românească and Tămâioasă roză also 14,000 kg/ha and 112 hl/ha; rosé and sparkling yields are not set separately. Bud load is limited to 15 buds per square metre; sparkling wines need at least 3.5 bar. The national specification gives minimum total acidity as 4.0 g/l tartaric acid (recorded for white and red) and minimum actual alcohol for red C.M.D. wines as 12 % vol, against 11 % vol in the single document (kept). Its yields vary by variety and the lowest are recorded for rosé, C.T. and C.I.B.: C.M.D. 10,000 to 12,000 kg/ha and 68 to 86 hl/ha; C.T. 9,000 to 10,000 kg and 59 to 68 hl, with 13 % vol for dry whites and reds, 22 g/l extract for reds; C.I.B. 6,000 to 7,000 kg and 36 to 42 hl (white and aromatic varieties only). Rezervă needs 6 months in oak and 6 in bottle; Vin de vinotecă one year in oak and 4 in bottle.
