Seasons are labelled by harvest year (April–October). Year-to-year changes from ERA5-Land; tested against station records in Alto Adige (r = 0.94 for season temperature at Bolzano). Rain varies more locally, so treat single-season rain with some caution. Vintage ratings, harvest dates and frost or hail events have places in the data model but are not loaded yet.

  • From the specification: Products follow the traditional mentions D.O.C.-C.M.D. (full maturity), D.O.C.-C.T. (late harvest) and D.O.C.-C.I.B. (noble-rot harvest; only Grasă de Cotnari, Tămâioasă românească, Pinot gris, Busuioacă de Bohotin, Fetească neagră, Pinot noir and Cabernet Sauvignon); rosé wines follow the red/rosé limits. C.M.D. yields: 10 t/ha and 70 hl/ha (Chardonnay, Pinot gris, Grasă de Cotnari, Tămâioasă românească, Busuioacă de Bohotin, Pinot noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Fetească neagră), 11 t/ha and 77 hl/ha (Fetească albă, Riesling italian, Sauvignon blanc, Merlot, Burgund mare), 14 t/ha and 98 hl/ha (Fetească regală, Băbească neagră). Vines must be at least 3 years old; vineyard varietal purity at least 80 % (85 % for varietal wines); heat treatment of red mash is prohibited.
