Seasons are labelled by harvest year (April–October). Year-to-year changes from ERA5-Land; tested against station records in Alto Adige (r = 0.94 for season temperature at Bolzano). Rain varies more locally, so treat single-season rain with some caution. Vintage ratings, harvest dates and frost or hail events have places in the data model but are not loaded yet.

Still to check (3)
  • Generated from EU reference data: check against the current product specification.
  • From the specification: Maximum yields are set per variety: the white figures are for Pinot gris, Sauvignon, Neuburger, Fetească regală and Traminer roz; Riesling Italian, Fetească albă and Chardonnay are limited to 10,000 kg/ha and 66 hl/ha, Muscat Ottonel to 8,000 kg/ha (its wine yield is misprinted as '53 kilograms of grapes per hectare'). Sauvignon appears in the yield table but not in the variety list. Listed single-vineyard names may be added. The national specification lists only white varieties and sets late-harvest (C.T.) rules for Muscat Ottonel alone (7,000 kg/ha, 47 hl/ha, at least 220 g/l sugar); full-maturity (C.M.D.) grapes need more than 155 g/l sugar. It gives Muscat Ottonel's C.M.D. wine yield as 53 hl/ha. Dry wines may have up to 4 g/l sugar (9 g/l with the acidity rule), medium-dry 12 or 18 g/l, medium-sweet 45 g/l. The straw wine is not covered by the national text.
  • National tier (DOC/DOCG) not captured yet; rules extracted from the specification text.
