  • Boundary not captured yet (PGIs are not in the Eurac boundary data).
  • From the specification: Source is the 2014 English technical file (single document). Main varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Bobal, Airén, Verdejo, Tempranillo, Syrah, Macabeo, Garnacha Tintorera, Garnacha Tinta; 33 secondary varieties (Albillo, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Graciano, Merlot, Monastrell, Petit Verdot...). Semi-sparkling and sparkling wines take the white/rosé limits (11 % vol actual) or, when red, the red limits (12 % vol); wine of overripe grapes needs 12 % vol actual. The row labelled 'maximum total alcoholic strength' (11 white/rosé, 12 red, 17.5 liqueur, 15 overripe) equals or matches EU minimum total strengths and appears mislabelled, so it is not recorded. Yields: 10,000 kg/ha and 70 hl/ha for gobelet vines, 16,000 kg/ha and 112 hl/ha for trellised vines. Grapes must come exclusively from Castilla-La Mancha.
