Boundary not captured yet (PGIs are not in the Eurac boundary data).
From the specification: Yields are set per variety group: 12,000 kg/ha and 90 hl/ha (Muscat Ottonel, Tămâioasă românească, Busuioacă de Bohotin, Cabernet sauvignon, Pinot noir, Fetească neagră, Pinot gris...), 14,000 kg/ha and 105 hl/ha, 16,000 kg/ha and 120 hl/ha, and 18,000 kg/ha and 135 hl/ha (Fetească regală, Syrah, Trebbiano, Oporto, Zweigelt); the lowest is recorded. In poor years the 136 g/l minimum grape sugar may be lowered by 8.5 g/l. Varietal wines need at least 85 % of the variety; at least 85 % of grapes from the area. Enrichment is limited to 1.5 % vol (2 % vol in exceptional years). Production may also take place in nearby Ploieşti, Buzău and Mizil, and conditioning/bottling outside the area with notification. Malolactic fermentation is compulsory for red wines and only discontinuous pneumatic presses may be used.
