Seasons are labelled by harvest year (April–October). Year-to-year changes from ERA5-Land; tested against station records in Alto Adige (r = 0.94 for season temperature at Bolzano). Rain varies more locally, so treat single-season rain with some caution. Vintage ratings, harvest dates and frost or hail events have places in the data model but are not loaded yet.

  • Generated from EU reference data: check against the current product specification.
  • From the specification: White wines only. Products follow the traditional mentions D.O.C.-C.M.D. (full maturity, grape sugar above 155 g/l), D.O.C.-C.T. (late harvest; only Pinot Gris, Muscat Ottonel and Traminer Roz) and D.O.C.-C.I.B. (noble-rot harvest; only Pinot Gris and Traminer Roz). C.M.D. yields per variety: 12 t/ha and 80 hl/ha (Pinot Gris, Muscat Ottonel, Sauvignon, Neuburger, Traminer Roz) or 14 t/ha and 92 hl/ha (Riesling Italian, Fetească Regală, Fetească Albă, Furmint). Enrichment is allowed in unfavourable years (must at least 155 g/l sugar) up to 12 % vol total; sweetening may raise total alcohol by at most 4 % vol. Sweetness ranges from dry to sweet by residual sugar. Vin tânăr is wine released before the end of the harvest year. Plai names: Cetate, Sântimbru, Coasta Caldă, Ighiu, Şard, Ţelna, Bucerdea Vinoasă, Cricău, Galda.
