  • Boundary not captured yet (PGIs are not in the Eurac boundary data).
  • From the specification: Varietal wines (at least 85% of one variety suitable for Sicily) must meet the limits of the corresponding colour; a later paragraph lets two-variety wines come only from the two named varieties, each above 15%, while the 85% paragraph also mentions 'uno o due vitigni'. No maximum grape yield is stated for rosato. Aromatic grapes may be lightly dried on the vine or on racks. Sweetness may range from dry to sweet, so it is left null. Frizzante and novello wines need only 9% and 11% vol total alcohol. Minimum natural alcohol may be lowered by 0.5% vol in poor years.
