From the specification: Frizzante grapes may have a natural potential alcohol 0.5% vol lower than the base type, so it is left null for them; in poor vintages all minimums may be lowered by 0.5% vol. Vinification may also take place anywhere in the province of Crotone. Varietal wines also meet the analytical limits of their colour.
