From the specification: Varietal wines also meet the acidity and extract limits of their colour. No natural alcohol minimum is given for Aglianico, nor a total alcohol minimum for still Asprinio. Passito wines have no analytical limits. The region may cut natural alcohol minima by 0.5% vol in poor years. Wineries in Campania that vinified this IGT before 31/12/2012 may continue outside the zone.
