From the specification: Also 'Terre de L'Aquila'. Vinification must take place within the Abruzzo region (not only the production zone). Cabernet franc and Cabernet sauvignon share the 'Cabernet' limits in Art. 6. Two-variety wines need over 15% of the minor variety. Up to 15% of musts or wines from outside the zone may be blended in. Natural alcohol may be lowered by 0.5% in poor years.
