  • Boundary not captured yet (PGIs are not in the Eurac boundary data).
  • From the specification: Varietal wines ('varietale' products, plus Rosso Primitivo with its own yield and natural alcohol) name one of about 50 listed varieties (Aglianico, Aleatico, Barbera, Bianco di Alessano...) and take the limits of the wine of the same colour; they may be frizzante, spumante (white only), passito, novello (red only), da uve stramature, and rosato from black grapes. Two varieties may be named if together 100%, the lesser above 15%. Yields: 26 t/ha for white-grape types, 23 t/ha for black-grape types (applied to rosés), 17 t/ha for Rosso Primitivo. Frizzante and spumante grapes may have 0.5% vol less natural alcohol. Most types range from dry to abboccato/amabile or sweet, so sweetness is null. Vinification in the production zone or anywhere in Puglia.
