From the specification: Varietal wines also meet the limits of their colour. Amabile, frizzante and novello types have no analytical limits of their own (frizzante natural alcohol 9.5%). The region may cut natural alcohol minima by 0.5% vol in poor years. Wineries in Campania that vinified this IGT before 31/12/2012 may continue outside the zone.
