Seasons are labelled by harvest year (April–October). Year-to-year changes from ERA5-Land; tested against station records in Alto Adige (r = 0.94 for season temperature at Bolzano). Rain varies more locally, so treat single-season rain with some caution. Vintage ratings, harvest dates and frost or hail events have places in the data model but are not loaded yet.

Still to check (3)
  • Generated from EU reference data: check against the current product specification.
  • From the specification: Passito wines may range from dry to sweet: minimum actual alcohol is 12% vol for the sweet type and 14% vol for the dry type, and concentration is excluded. Subzone wines (Ravello, Tramonti, Furore) share the base type's acidity, extract and taste descriptors; the text sets only their own yield and alcohol. The spumante alcohol figure is given as 'titolo alcolometrico volumico minimo' without saying total, and it is brut or extra brut. Article 7 allows a riserva for the rosso of the Furore, Ravello and Tramonti subzones (2 years from 1 November, one in wood); only Tramonti Rosso Riserva is added, as the other subzone reds are not in the register.
  • National tier (DOC/DOCG) not captured yet; rules extracted from the specification text.
