  • From the specification: Vinification is also allowed in the wider provinces of Brescia, Mantova and Verona. For Barbera the text says the natural alcohol 'valore massimo' is 10.00% vol, apparently meaning the minimum; recorded as the minimum. The Chardonnay description gives a ruby colour, apparently a drafting error. Natural alcohol may be reduced by 0.5% vol in poor years.
