  • Boundary not captured yet (PGIs are not in the Eurac boundary data).
  • From the specification: Retsina of Chalkida (Evia), a traditional-designation retsina registered as a PGI; the former province of Chalkida in Evia. Dry white and dry rosé retsina, made by adding Aleppo pine resin (up to 1 kg per 100 litres of must) before or during fermentation; actual strength range 10.0–13.5 % vol as in the tables. Acidification up to 1.5 g/l is permitted; flavouring to imitate resin and blending with other wine types are prohibited; 'young/fresh' retsina must hold about 1 g/l CO2. Cordon vines are usually pruned Royat or Guyot.
