From the specification: Chalkidiki PGI: the whole prefecture of Chalkidiki. Most varieties may be used in any proportion, but Roditis, Assyrtiko and Athiri (white) and Cabernet Sauvignon and Limnio (red) must be used in proportions different from those of the PDO Plagies Melitona wines. Rosé grape yields follow the limits of the white and red varieties used. Sweetening is permitted for semi-dry and medium-sweet wines; wines may be made in wineries in the prefecture or neighbouring prefectures.
