  • Boundary not captured yet (PGIs are not in the Eurac boundary data).
  • From the specification: Regional PGI for Epirus covering still white (dry to sweet), red (dry) and rosé (ερυθρωπός, dry and semi-dry), semi-sparkling white and rosé (ημιαφρώδης, 1–2.5 bar, endogenous CO2) and sparkling white Sec and Demi-sec (at least 3.0 bar, sugar 17–32 and 32–50 g/l). Sparkling wine may be made either by second fermentation in bottle or in closed tank (method stated on the label), so sparkling_method is left null. Yields are not fixed here: the specification refers to the yields in the ministerial decisions recognising the Epirus PDO and PGI wines. Grapes must come from the recognised PDO/PGI vineyard areas of Epirus; maximum total acidity 7.5 g/l (7.0 red); white and rosé fermentation not above 20 °C; sweetening permitted for semi-dry, semi-sweet and sweet wines.
