Seasons are labelled by harvest year (April–October). Year-to-year changes from ERA5-Land; tested against station records in Alto Adige (r = 0.94 for season temperature at Bolzano). Rain varies more locally, so treat single-season rain with some caution. Vintage ratings, harvest dates and frost or hail events have places in the data model but are not loaded yet.

Still to check (3)
  • Generated from EU reference data: check against the current product specification.
  • From the specification: The syrah (at least 40%), tannat (at least 20%) and merlot (at most 15%) limits apply to the holding's vineyard (not to small growers who do not make wine); in red wines syrah and tannat together make at least 60% of the blend, with syrah the largest share and at most 80%; rosés must blend at least two varieties with syrah the largest. Rosés made by saignée need 189 g/l sugar like reds (180 g/l recorded for pressed rosés). Irrigated plots are limited to 7000 kg/ha. Red wines are aged (élevage) until at least 15 March after the harvest and hold at most 0.4 g/l malic acid; rosés are released under the general rule (article D. 645-17). Permitted pruning: Guyot simple (10 buds), Guyot double with two half-canes (8 buds), bilateral cordon.
  • National tier (DOC/DOCG) not captured yet; rules extracted from the specification text.
