Worked out from the boundaries (smallest container first). Uses the delimited parcels where INAO publishes them.

The delimited vineyard parcels themselves, so the shape is patchy: only land within them may grow the wine. Boundary: INAO parcel delimitation (Licence Ouverte); nearby parcels drawn as one block, with less detail for larger appellations. Country outlines: Natural Earth. Dots on the zone map are the vineyard points used for climate.

Seasons are labelled by harvest year (April–October). Year-to-year changes from ERA5-Land; tested against station records in Alto Adige (r = 0.94 for season temperature at Bolzano). Rain varies more locally, so treat single-season rain with some caution. Vintage ratings, harvest dates and frost or hail events have places in the data model but are not loaded yet.

Still to check (3)
  • Generated from EU reference data: check against the current product specification.
  • From the specification: Vin de liqueur: unfiltered must (at least 153 g/l sugar when fortified, during the harvest) is fortified with Marc du Jura from the same holding, at least 52% vol and aged at least 14 months in oak; finished wine 16–22% vol. The register lists only 'Macvin du Jura' (white is assumed as the base product; red and rosé added). Yields are hl of must per ha; minor varieties are limited to 5% of the holding's vineyard and under 10% of the blend; minimum density 5,000 vines/ha (written "5 000", not matchable by the checker, so left null), terraces exempt.
  • National tier (DOC/DOCG) not captured yet; rules extracted from the specification text.
