  • Boundary not captured yet (PGIs are not in the Eurac boundary data).
  • From the specification: Varieties: 27 white (Auxerrois, Bacchus, Bronner, Weißer Burgunder, Chardonnay...) and 30 red (Acolon, Baron, Cabernet varieties, Dornfelder, Lemberger, Trollinger...); approved variety trials may also be classed as Landwein. At least 85 % of grapes must come from the area, the rest from Germany. Yield 110 hl/ha on normal sites (may be raised by up to 10 hl in exceptional years) and 150 hl/ha on registered steep slopes, each plus 20 % carry-over. Residual sugar may not exceed the 'halbtrocken' limit (12 g/l, or 18 g/l when total acidity is no more than 10 g/l below the sugar), so wines are dry or medium-dry. Enrichment is capped at 11.5 % vol total (white, rosé) and 12 % vol (red); the cap for Blanc de Noir and Rotling is not stated separately. Cold concentration is prohibited and sweetening only with German grape must. Production must take place in Baden-Württemberg or a neighbouring state. Federweißer is partially fermented grape must meeting the Landwein conditions.
