From the official production rules (national product specification, via the EU register). Hover a figure to see the clause it comes from. A dash means the rules set no figure, or it is not captured yet.
Boundary not captured yet (PGIs are not in the Eurac boundary data).
From the specification: Landwein (PGI). Maximum total alcohol after enrichment is 11.5 % (zone A) or 12 % (zone B) for white and rosé and 12 % (A) or 12.5 % (B) for red (zone A values recorded); without enrichment at most 15 % vol. Maximum yield 110 hl/ha for normal sites (raisable by up to 10 hl) and 150 hl/ha for registered steep sites of the former Württemberg region, each plus 20 % carry-over. At least 85 % of grapes from the area, the rest from Germany; production must take place in Baden-Württemberg or a neighbouring state. Section 3.1 mentions 'Taubertäler Landwein', apparently a drafting slip. Sweetness terms trocken to süß allowed. Cold concentration prohibited; Sweetening is allowed only with German grape must. Federweißer (partially fermented grape must, at least 85 % from the area) is also covered and must meet the Landwein production conditions; the analytical limits are given for wine only.
