  • Boundary not captured yet (PGIs are not in the Eurac boundary data).
  • From the specification: Landwein in white, rosé, red, Blanc de Noirs and Rotling. Unenriched wines may reach 15 % vol; sugar:alcohol ratio at most 1:5; no enrichment with concentrated must. Residual sugar may not exceed the maximum for 'halbtrocken' (12 g/l, or 18 g/l when total acidity is at most 10 g/l lower), so wines are dry or medium-dry; sweetening only with German grape must. Grapes wholly German and at least 85 % from the area; production, later processing and bottling in the area or in its own or a neighbouring Land. Long lists of white and red varieties (e.g. Silvaner, Müller-Thurgau, Bacchus, Domina, Spätburgunder).
  • National tier (DOC/DOCG) not captured yet; rules extracted from the specification text.
