Seasons are labelled by harvest year (April–October). Year-to-year changes from ERA5-Land; tested against station records in Alto Adige (r = 0.94 for season temperature at Bolzano). Rain varies more locally, so treat single-season rain with some caution. Vintage ratings, harvest dates and frost or hail events have places in the data model but are not loaded yet.

  • From the specification: Source is the general Cypriot OEOP order 706/2004 covering Laona Akamas, Vouni Panagias-Ambelitis, Pitsilia and Krasochoria Lemesou; rules taken from the Pitsilia/Krasochoria Lemesou clauses. The scanned text has gaps: the red-wine minimum shares (in the other areas Maratheftiko or Ofthalmo at least 85 %, or Mavro at least 60 % with a recommended variety above 30 %), the minimum natural alcohol figures and the Afames subregion detail are illegible. Annex II maximum yields: 52 hl/ha for local varieties (Mavro, Canella, Giannoudhi, Morocanella, Promara, Spourtiko) and 42 hl/ha for international ones; footnotes give 45 and 36 hl/ha for specified subregions (which ones is illegible). All wines need at least six months' bottle ageing (εξάμηνη αναγωγική παλαίωση); red Maratheftiko at least six months in 225-litre oak barrels no more than 3 years old. Vineyards at least five years old; grapes harvested in plastic crates.
